exhibition video production

Please note that we are now able to supply your programme in high definition on a blu-ray disc. Perfect for the large exhibition screens. More info....

Exhibition spaces are very expensive and it is therefore imperative that you get the most out of any exhibition and use the investment to its full potential.

Attract potential clients to your stand and reduce the amount that just walk past. Engage them, interest them and pull them in. Keep them occupied while you get around to speaking with them.

While a corporate video may be used on an exhibition stand, it is far from ideal. An exhibition video production can be created to take advantage of the specific needs of the surroundings. Sound will just annoy passers-by so it is essential that the production is visually rich, caption focused and graphically enhanced rather than sound focused.

We will meet with you, discuss your requirements and come up with the ideas that will form the basis of a tailor made exhibition video designed to attract and not repel.

The basics of the production process follow:

1. Initial meeting to define the content, message, audience & style. (No obligation)

2. We produce a script detailing the shooting schedule & storyboard.

3. One day shooting (filming) on location

4. Three days post production/editing the video production.

5. Ten copies of your video production on DVD.

A more detailed description of each service for those who would like to take things further.

Initial meeting to define the content, message, audience & style - Initial project meeting - To establish your audience, message, style & delivery method.

Create treatment - The treatment describes the style, content & objectives.

We produce a script detailing the shooting schedule & storyboard - Once you are happy with the treatment we will produce working documents in the form of script, shooting schedule & storyboard. These documents will give you the closest representation of how the finished exhibition video production will look. You will have the opportunity to fine tune scripts and storyboards before we commence shooting. Following script approval, our producer will liaise with all parties to arrange shooting dates and locations.

We will create a shooting schedule which will identify times, crew & extras at each location. The shooting schedule need not follow the running order of the programme as the correct structure will be created during the editing process.

One day shooting (filming) on location - We appreciate your busy schedule so our crew will aim to shoot your programme with the minimum disruption.

A typical crew would be two, to include cameraman & director. There are also occasions when only a cameraman is required.

Three days post production/editing the video production – Post production is the process of editing the footage into the final programme. The process will involve Logging & Digitising - Sorting the material & uploading to one of our computerised editing suites. Editing - Using a software interface we select, order & trim the best shots to construct the programme. We may add music, titles, graphics & voice over as required. At this stage we concentrate on the content and provide you with time coded approval copies, these can be supplied on either VHS, DVD or via our Internet download service. The latter removes any geographic limitations and allows you to preview video programmes on your desktop. We work using time code throughout the project this means that any changes can be identified accurately. Further more, future modifications present no problem as we can reload projects from our archive and recreate them many months or even years later, making small updates easy and realistically priced.
Ten copies of your video production on DVD - A DVD title can be played in a dedicated DVD player, or most modern PC's & Macs. DVD is predominantly for video playback however graphics, subtitles and foreign voiceovers can be incorporated. DVD's can be programmed to be interactive or linear they can include multiple camera angles & multiple sound tracks.
